If you’re struggling to install SecoClient with a certificate on your Ubuntu, Mint or Debian system, please check the commands below:
Download .run package from the Huawei site (right now I don’t have the direct link but a few years ago it was publicly available)
sudo ./secoclient-linux-64-7.0.2.33.run |
Copy the certificate (which you received from your sysadmin)
sudo cp my_cert.p12 /usr/local/SecoClient/certificate/ |
Run Secoclient and finish up your settings (you’ll need to enter passphrase before you can use the connection).
It seems that the certificate has to be available in /usr/local/SecoClient/certificate/. In any other case, Secoclient doesn’t recognize the certificate.
